Parents and pupils can get a first impression of a school during a so-called open day which is very useful to find out whether this school is the right choice for their child. At St. Michael’s the open day usually takes place once a year in November. Older pupils and teachers prepare presentations and small events in their school time for this certain day. Some represent a certain subject or a project, extracurricular activities or a competition whilst others show things that are typical for the school. The students and teachers are also available for any questions the potential students and their parents might have.
In addition to that some older students volunteer to make tours with students and/or parents. The open days are very important for the school itself as the potential students can get a good insight into the school’s everyday life.
